1。Concept Artist

Description:

The Concept Artist will play a key role in helping to drive the game’s visual development, with demonstrated strength in at least one style. The Concept Artist will work closely with the Lead Artist or Art Director to communicate the visual experience of characters, environments, and vehicles. The Concept Artist has a strong knowledge of visual language principles and is able to use it to produce strong and compelling stories. The Concept Artist should have a deep understanding of composition and color, the ability to render exciting designs, and possess a strong sense of vision for conceptual art.

Requirements:

- 2 years+ in concept art for games or a related field

- A deep understanding and enthusiasm for all aspects of realistic and stylized conceptual art, such as: characters, environments, mechanical objects, props, etc

- Excellent drawing and painting skills in both traditional and digital formats

- Creative, adaptable and flexible art style with attention to aesthetic detail

- Ability to convey a message through visual presentation

- Proficiency in Photoshop

- Well versed in principles of color theory and lighting

- Experience with rapid-iteration of drawings and paintings

- Familiar with western culture

- Detail oriented, organized and able to meet project requirements

Desirable Skills:

- Formal traditional art training

- English and Mandarin proficiency

- Familiarity with 3d software

- A resume and portfolio that reflects the skills and abilities above

- Passion for games

- Strong technical and communication skills

- 2 years+ games production experience

- Excellent conceptual, illustration and design skills

- Detail oriented, organized and able to meet project requirements

- Solid understanding of asset management practices

- Good aptitude for problem solving and self-starting with the ability to work with minimal direction



2。Lead Concept Artist

Description:

The Lead Concept Artist will work closely with the Art Director to define the visual language and style for major areas of a game, with demonstrated strength in multiple styles. The ideal candidate should have at least 4-7 years of industry experience, ideally having shipped at least one AAA game. The Lead Concept Artist has an expert knowledge of visual language principles, and has proven expertise in the ability to communicate vision. The candidate must have strong understanding of human and animal anatomy, design, color theory, perspective, composition, story boarding, painting, drawing, digital media, and 3D software. The Lead Concept Artist is an advocate of the Art Director’s vision. He or she is able to mentor junior artists, while always upholding a high standard of excellence in visual development craftsmanship.

Requirements:

- 4-7 years of concept art experience in the games or related field

- Proficient in multiple (3+) styles across characters, environments, vehicles.

- Senior or leadership role experience across at least one major project.

- Highly proficient in Photoshop as well as traditional painting techniques.

- B.A. in Fine Arts or relevant curriculum or equivalent skillset.

- Highly creative, adaptable and flexible art style with attention to aesthetic detail

- Excellent communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.

- Superior drawing and painting skills in both traditional and digital formats

3。动画师

The Animator is responsible for creating high quality in-game animation. The candidate should possess a high level of proficiency in the animation software package of the given project cycle. The animator must be able to work under the Lead Animator and interpret and execute art direction with minimal supervision. The candidate must be well versed in both key framing and mocap cleanup, as well as help guide junior animators and lead by example.


Key responsibilities include:
Requirements:
A deep understanding of the principles of animation
Strong Knowledge of the human anatomy, form and weight
Experience in rigging a wide range of characters and creatures, both biped and quadraped
Ability to express emotion and exaggerate movement through animation techniques
Strong expertise in Maya
Familiarity with key frame animation best practices
2 years+ for animation in games or related field
Detail oriented, organized and able to meet project requirements
Desired Skills:

Motion Builder and mocap clean up experience
Technical skills and knowledge of production pipeline
Familiar with modeling and texturing techniques
Ability to help guide junior artists

Some training in Acting, Dance, or Sports

3D角色动作制作

要求:
深刻了解动画原理;
有深厚的人体解剖学、结构学和重力学的相关知识;
具有角色制作经验,可以设计各种不同类型的角色生物,包括两足动物和四足动物;
能通过动画技术表达各种情绪和夸张的动作;
具有丰富的Maya使用经验;
熟练掌握关键帧动画的制作技巧;
细致、有条理,能够根据项目要求开展工作。


技能需求:
Motion Builder和动作捕捉数据处理的工作经验;
具有项目制作流程所需的知识和技术技能;
熟悉建模和贴图技巧;
有指导初级美工的能力;
有正式的美术培训经历;

流利的普通话和英文;
有表演、舞蹈或者运动方面的培训经历;
请提交一份简历和一份能够反映上述技能的作品;
热爱游戏。


作品提交要求:
能体现当前动画水准的近期动画作品;
以全身运动的作品为主;
所提交的作品风格种类尽量全面,例如人物,怪物,机械,四足生物等;
尽量通过邮件呈递作品,若作品过大,可考虑使用网络硬盘。
